Show your slings!

Steph over at Adventures in Babywearing is having another little cyber-party. This time she's asking others to show their slings. I have 6 but one that blows all the others away.

My Babyhawk.

Oh, how I love her. She's so pretty. Mine is two sided one side with skulls, the other with hula girls, all with cherry trim. She is very well-made and sturdy. And the coolest part that I never anticipated was that my husband loved her almost as much as I did. Had I known, I would've picked one side to be a little more masculine. But he rocked her anyway!

So does it still work well with a almost 2 year old? If it does I needs to get me one pronto .... my hotsling is becoming questionable.

oooh, love it! I had a couple I really liked...one is still in my closet for no apparent reason...but I can't remember what they are/were. I was late on the babywearing thing but if there were ever another? ALL THE WAY.

Oh, that is AWESOME!!! When we went to the Dominican, there was a woman who had her newborn babe in a sling. It was the COOLEST thing I had ever seen. The funny part was that the people at Customs thought it was a purse, and they were trying to get her to take it off and put it through the scanner! LOL! She was like, "Uhhh...NO! That's my baby in there!"

I don't even have kids and I want a babyhawk.

I think my mom slung a bedsheet over her shoulder back in the early 70s thinking she was the shit carrying me around.

They should make an 'adulthawk' so that we can all be carried around when needed. Wouldn't that be great to have your hubby carry you around?!? Ha!
