I'm Gonna Catch You!

First of all, yesterday I went to a La Leche League Meeting. Only one kid had Pink Eye! Yes that's right. This strange hillbilly of a woman was talking about how she had been at the Dr's office the day before because her oldest son had pink eye. . . SWEET! Maybe if I was lucky he touched something that I touched before I was trying to get an eyelash out of my eye. Seriously, who is that stupid? Isn't that one of the most contagious things out there? Geeze!!

On a happier note, I bought Mason something that is virtually priceless. If you are a Mom of a toddler, you've got to get the Laurie Berkner Band. It is advertised on TV, and truly is just a band for kids. Mason is in love. He spins around and tries to keep up with the arm movements they do. The best part about it is that it's OK music. I really haven't had to run into the kitchen yet looking for the nearest fork to poke into my eyes. I have in fact found myself singing along to those catchy little songs.
"I'm gonna catch you, you better run."
"I'm gonna catch you, here I come."
They advertised it on TV for 19.99 plus 4.95 for shipping. Well, I am way too thrifty for that! I found it at Overstock for 12.05 and 1.40 for shipping...SOLD. I ordered it last Friday and it arrived on Monday. It has been played numerous times since then along with the CD that came free with it. Check it out. It has been a very well spent $14.00.

SF is so deprived, he's stuck with my unupdated iPod selections as the CD player in the SLAAB broke a few weeks ago. I have a love/hate relationship with that car and I'm getting extremely close to caving...

Mason is v.v. lucky!

I made the mistake of buying Haley a "Wiggles" cd b/c I love torture apparently. As soon as she gets in the car she says "Mommy? Can we play Tha Weegles on tha raydeeoooo?"
The REALLY sad part is that I forget to turn it off after dropping her off at school and find myself singing along the work.
It's sad, really.

Ms. Mamma, you can purchase LB songs on itunes too...I looked into it! Now you have no excuses.

Napagirl, LB's music is way cooler than the wiggles, who (thank god) I think Mason is growing out of!

So did you get pink eye? Put some breastmilk in it. Works every time.

Christy, Thankfully we are still healthy. I just looked like a psycho germaphob putting purell on Mason and my hands constantly before we ate anything!

I found some really good deals about
Seen on TV
on a site about Seen On TV products.
There are many of these sites but
this one was easy to get around and
had a toll-free number in case you did not
want to order over the net. Check it out.
