Baby, Baby...I can't stand Amy Grant.

I don't know what has come over me...I am bored with blogging. Sorry! It's nothing personal, I think every now and then I run out of things to write about. But this time, I do have things to talk about, I just don't. I am lazy these days, that is what it boils down to.

I know I mentioned having my 16 week OB appointment this past week, but what I didn't mention is that my Ultra-Sound is scheduled for May 1st! Do you hear me? May 1st I find out if the beebster is a little Dora or Diego (don't fret those are not the names we've chosen,I promise)! I know that finding out the sex of the baby is always a hot topic, to find out or not to find out. We went around and around deciding whether to find out with Mason, and came to this agreement:

"Having a baby come out of your vagina and become part of your family is a big enough surprise. It is a huge change in your life, so why not be as prepared as possible?"

So, we found out and have never regretted our decision. This time we plan on doing the same. So my next question...Any feelings as to what I am having? Of course a healthy baby is what we truly want, but a girl would be wonderful to round out the family. My friend Jill and I had a discussion the other day about a man having a daughter. I really believe that having a daughter does something to a man that cannot be done any other way. I feel like a daughter softens a man and exposes a part of him that otherwise would not be exposed. Just my theory remember, but it makes sense, doesn't it?

The count down is on! I will let you all know the sex but the name...forgetaboutit! We are selfish that way. For that important piece of info, you'll have to read somewhere around the 18th of September!

Hmmm...I wonder what happended to "Big Pappy"? Seriously, Pedro is a sweet man and I think you're right about softening. You have such a sweet little familia.

I don't know, IMO I think it's handy to know the sex beforehand, in a world so stressed, it can save time and money. I remeber what you told me a few weeks ago so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a girl!

I hear you about the blog thing. It can be very mundane... as in hmmm...do I start blogging about corn and baby bowel movements or Magic Erasers for that matter! I do enjoy reading about your trials and tribulations, though.

I also enjoy reading you, even if it's just a bunch of jabber that you want to get off your mind.
I think you are having a girl.
And I will testify first hand that what you think about a man having a daughter is absolutely correct. I absolutely adore watching my husband play with our daughter. I fall in love with him all over again. He is VERY protective though and I think I'm going to feel very bad for her when she turns like 16 and even thinks about looking at a guy. OH, and she can't wear a bikini, even now. It has to be a one piece.

I hate Amy Grant. Fun stuff.

And that's exciting about the ultra sound. That is always exciting.

And don't quit blogging. Or talking about Mexico.

Hmmmm..... I have no thoughts on what you are going to have, though a girl would work out nicely.

And don't worry... I will name it until you REALLY name it. Did that make sense? My brother's baby is now know as Peter or Little Peter. (All we know is he has Peter). But we do think he is going to be a Jacob. Specifically a Jacob Ralph. It's growing on me.

May 1st!! Can't wait! We found out the sex w/Cricket and don't regret it (I knew it was a boy from day 1 anyway!) but the next time I think I'll wait just b/c I want to have a completely different pregnancy experience. Most of our baby clothes are gender neutral to get us by in the beginning anyway. All babies look good in black ;)

This is ridiculous, this post is as fresh as a Flock of Seagulls hair! Is it bad when reading my wife's blog is my only source of entertainment at work?

Frustrated, I just realized that my last comment was totally weak.

Allright Annie, can't you AT LEAST be posting some beautiful photographs of your darling Otto for me with a bit of commentary, okay no commentary then? I'm feeling the jones here, sista! And Pedro, you can always stop by my little corner of infinity for more Fresh Fruit. ;)
