Everyone needs a little sugar now and then.

Pedro is gone again, in New York. Mason has been a monster. I am not sure if I can chalk it up to him missing his Dad or me being on edge, or what. But it has been rough.

Yesterday I was just about to cry after the 634th naughty thing Mason did. I think he could tell I was at the end of my rope. He walked right up to me as I was sitting on the floor, got inches from my face and asked, "Do you need some sugar?"

I started laughing hysterically, he started laughing hysterically and all was good in the world again.

Home alone with 2 kids is so hard. Thank God for those little moments, right? They make it worth it.

oh yeah...did you get some sugar? :)

How can those little stinkers do that? Piss you off so much, get you to a breaking point, and then say one amazingly sweet/innocent thing....and it's like none of the bad stuff every happened.
Thank you Mason for asking you mommy if she needed sugar. Thank you!

Hi...I should have introduced myself. :) I was here before for the "without makeup" thing and I bookmarked you because we are both in WI (I'm near Madison) and we both have a 3 yr old boy and my baby (sniff) girl is just one and her name is Ruby HARPER. :)

So, hi! I'll be back!

Hang in there. My husband also has to travel sometimes and it can be soooo hard. I normally go into survival mode and am fine until the last day. Then all hell breaks loose. hahaha.

How do they do that? They can be complete terrors one second and melt your heart in the next. That is so sweet. He's always gonna look out for his mommy!

Awwww! That was really cute. Kids say the funniest things. My mom used to say that she'd be at the end of her rope with my 2 brothers and me and then one of my brothers would say something cute like Mason did to you...and everything was all good again.

Thanks for sharing that story. I think it's adorable! :)

So, how are you doing today? Hope all's well. If you need some sugar (probably not the sugar Mason asked you about!), I've got a yummy choc. chip cookie recipe on my blog! Super easy and yummy...and maybe Mason can help you make them :)

Aww!!!! Don't you love it? The other day I was having one of those days.. and it ws like 9am. I said "Hayden, just get in the carseat! I can tell it is NOT going to be a GOOD DAY!"

He said "yes it is going to be a good day Mommy!"

How horrible did I feel? It really was a good day, I just needed him to remind me!!! I think we all need reminders from time to time!!
